Pepperell's Meats are suppliers of Quality UK sourced meats, which also includes local British Beed, locally sources Quality Assured Pork, English Lamb and Red Tractor Approved poultry.
The product range is further complimented by our own range of cooked meats (cured & cooked on our premises), gluten free products and frozen food. We also manufacture quality burgers and sausages made from local produce using our own recipe formulations, which can also be further developed to suit individual needs.
We are BPEX Regional Road Show Gold Award Winners for our Prime Pork Sausage, Norfolk Pork Sausage and Gluten Free Cumberland Sausage, Smoked Gammon and Smoked Streaky Bacon, also BPEX Sliver Award Winners for our Smoked Back Bacon. In addition to this, Pepperell's was the overall Regional Winner of the Traditional Sausage category for our Gluten Free Cumberland Sausage and were runners up in the National Champion of Champions awards 2012. In 2013 Pepperell's were finalists in the Great Bacon Revolution Awards at Bacon Connoisseurs Week for our Smoked Back Bacon. More recently we won the Gluten Free Category at the Framlingham Sausage Festival in September 2016 and were proud to be a finalist in the 2019 South Norfolk Business Awards for Innovation in Agriculture, Food & Drink. These are achievements that we, as a team, are very proud of and further confirms our desire to delivger the best quality possible to our Customers.
As a company we work closely with the Local Authority and Statutory bodies and have a full HACCP system in place which further compliments our full traceability system. We are fully approved by the FSA (Food Standards Agency, have a full SALSA (Safe and Local Supplier Approval) accreditaiion and have just obtained STS approval.
Chris Pepperell is also a qualified Associate Member of the Institute of Meat.
