How we Use your Information

When you place an order via our website, over the telephone to our office or via e-mail we collect personal information about you to enable us to fulfill your order.  The information that you share with us may be used to keep you in touch with our latest promotional offers.  We may contact you via telephone or via e-mail.  If you would prefer us not to contact you by any of these methods, or wish to change your preferences at any time, simply get in touch with us.  We require your name, delivery address, e-mail address and contact number.  We need these details to process your order and on rare occasions to inform you of any delays or problems with items in your order.  Without this information we will not be able to process your request or notify you of acceptance of your order.  This information will be passed onto our courier service in order that they may process delivery of your order.

When you register with us the information that you share will allow us to contact you with notifications of special offers, promotions and other correspondence via e-mail. If you do not wish to receive our e-mail notifications please let us know via e-mail sales@pepperellsmeats.co.uk.

You can of course update and change your preferences on how we contact you with offers and promotions at any time.

Our site uses secure server software to protect your information whenever you place an order or access your account information.  This software encrypts all information you input before it is transferred, to minimise the risk of the data being intercepted before it received by our systems.  We also follow a tight security procedure as required under GDPR (May 2018) to protect the information that we store about you.

* Access to your customer account information is limited to those who need access for the performance of their job (i.e. Data Controller, Data Processer);

* We use full login and password controls on our sales control system;

* Confidentiality and database access controls are reviewed periodically and updated as required to further protect your personal data.

Card Payment Security

We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input.  We do not store you credit/debit card details when you place an order, nor do we allow you to store this number in your account.  We use Barclaycard merchant to process all payments.

It is important for you to protect against unauthorised access to your password and to your computer.  Be sure to log off when you finish placing your order.
